I'm Justin Myers. By day I'm a software engineer. The rest of the time, I apply the same systems thinking I use on code to the problem most guys quietly give up on: getting lean and staying strong for good.

I'm 37. My measured biological age is 27. That's not genetics — I've been the out-of-shape guy. It's the result of treating fat loss like an engineering problem: find the constraints (a real job, a real life, limited time), define the system (protein-first nutrition, minimum-effective-dose training), measure honestly, and iterate.

What you'll get here

Everything I publish — on Instagram and in the articles — follows three rules:

  • Evidence over hype.If the research is mixed, I'll say so. If something works but the effect is small, I'll say that too.
  • Built for real schedules. Nothing here assumes 12 hours a week in the gym or a chef in your kitchen.
  • Honest numbers.I track my own data obsessively — that's the engineer in me — and I'll always show my work.
